The Suttrup Shooting Club is a community steeped in tradition and deeply rooted in the history and culture of the region. Since the late 19th century, the club has played a central role in the social life of the village of Suttrup. The main task of the shooting club is the cultivation and promotion of shooting sports, but the preservation of traditions and the strengthening of a sense of community are also at the centre of the club's work.
The club regularly organises shooting competitions where members can demonstrate their marksmanship and discipline. These competitions are not only sporting challenges, but also social events where friendships are cultivated and new contacts are made. The club is particularly proud of its annual shooting festivals, which are among the highlights of the year. These festivals attract not only the villagers but also guests from the surrounding communities and offer a colourful programme of music, dancing and traditional customs.
